The Bumpy Road To Success.

Growing up is probably one of the hardest things I had to do. And I’m not talking about age; I’m talking about the mastery of emotional maturity , financial maturity and learning to balance all aspects of life; conquering all the tides with grace. That’s growth.

We all have dreams and visions of what we want for ourselves. We are told to dream big and aim higher. We daydream about better times, owning things, being able to travel the world with ease and enjoy. Dreams.

But in our quest for better days and financial freedom, we encounter so many obstacles and every so often we are tempted to quit. On so many occasions , quitting seems like a lucrative thing to do. But then again no one ever achieved anything after they quit.

You will experience a lot of resistance especially when your circle is not supportive , or when you are interacting with people who do not share your vision. You will even experience self doubt and try to lower your visions. But what you do not realise is that other people cannot see your vision the way you see it. There is a reason why that vision was gifted to you and not to others.

And just when you are about to quit, you will experience a certain level of isolation . It feels very unfair , at first. It is very hard to understand why so suddenly you seem to be alone. But when this happens , understand that you need that isolation for you to focus on your dreams and goals. You are about to realise a whole new level of blessings and favour; it would be crazy to resist it.

It doesn’t matter what other people think. Or what problems you are facing. Your blessings will not pass you. And what’s meant for you will always find you.

Don’t be discouraged.

  5. Its one of those articles you read and smile all the way to the last sentence because of how touching it is. When you surround yourself with people who have a thirst to achieve their dreams and are prepared to take the stairs instead of shortcuts thats the best feeling…..It is a very nice piece Linda.
