I used to think that you could simply write out how you want to spend your life; and with whom you wanna spend it with. I thought it was all about planning, and proper discipline; setting your priorities right. I was right, to an extent. But I realized that you can not really plan life. God already has that covered. And over time, i learned to expect the unexpected.
Don’t misunderstand me here though. It is awesome to have your plans work out. It really is. But it is also awesome to have something out of the blues that changes your life drastically; for the better.
Sometimes we go through bad experiences; horrible even. And we feel like all hope is gone; like we really have nothing good to look forward to. It can be quite hard when you are going through stuff alone. But as I said earlier, God has you covered. He is in control.
I have been down that road before and, as it turns out, things always work out for the better. Most of the experiences you would term as distasteful or unpleasant; most of which you would obviously want erased from your past, are the reason you are who you are. You get through bad experiences in one piece, you live and you learn. It is how it is.
Faith will get you through.
Prayer will keep you strong.
“I’ve missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. –Michael Jordan”
